Getting a beer in Iowa is harder than what you may think. The state of Iowa has tough regulation regarding drinking or distributing beer. For instance, beer manufacturers must pay a 44% tax. Additionally, only one monopoly is allowed to distribute beer in addition to an imposed beer production limit of six percent. This means that getting to enjoy as much beer as you can enjoy. In fact, the limit was recently lifted to 15%. For those with the need to stock more bottles of beer, there are other regulations to be followed.
